Open Coaching
For participant ensembles, with coaching and guidance from the artist-faculty.
Thursday, 3:00 p.m.
WCMW Chamber Orchestra Concert
Featuring participant soloists performing with the Orchestra.
Friday, 11:00 a.m.
WCMW Gala Concert
Featuring participant ensembles. Followed by a farewell reception/light lunch.
8 a.m. :: Breakfast
9 a.m. :: Technique class – topics include cuing, intonation, rhythm, and other ensemble-skill issues
10 a.m. :: Coaching sessions & rehearsal
12 p.m. :: Lunch
1 p.m. :: Seminar/lecture – topics include performance anxiety, sight-reading strategies, and musicological discussion
2 p.m. :: Coaching sessions & rehearsal
4 p.m. :: Structured sight-reading sessions/free time
6 p.m. :: Dinner
7:30 p.m. :: Chamber Orchestra rehearsal – eclectic and fun repertoire!
8:30 p.m. :: Free time/evening social – wine and cheese receptions, BBQ on the final evening
